I have so much love for San Francisco

This is the Adidias Skateboarding "Frisco Stand Up" video. Its dope to see guys getting all the 415 spots. Such a dope city. Nik P agrees.

Curiosity Corner

I'm going to be the first to say this... Curiosity Corner is here to kill the game. I can't wait for their debut to release. The group consists of Nik P. and Kadence. These two West Seattle cats have been songwriters since age 13. The time has come.

This dynamic combo is called Curiosity Corner. Stay tuned for the launch of their myspace page that will feature music, promo photos, and video to come.

Hello Seattle

Earlier in this bloggateering experience I did a post on Owatonna, Minnesota's Owl City and look how much he's developed since. Very impressed.

Atlanta's DONNIS

Let me be one of many to say that DONNIS is the shit. I know Southern Hip-Hop hasn't been the highlight of the decade but Donnis is the revival along side Curren$y, J.Cole, and a few others. His beat selection is on point and the Southern accent he carries out is very catchy. 10 Deep, the company that gave Wale his major break with The Mixtape About Nothing, decided to sponsor the Donnis movement and release his mixtape right after Wale's. Download his mixtape below.

Curren$y - "Jets Over Everything"

A lot of people haven't heard of this guy but he's a New Orleans cat with a lot of that Southern Style... but better! He's sponsored by Rob Dyrdek's DC Shoe Company and is on Lil Wayne's infamous Young Money Entertainment.

Download his song "Jets Over Everything" right HERE.

Timbo and Drizzy

The great Timbaland has done it again. He released his much anticipated Shock Value II on December 8th to a very pleased audience. Below is the making of his video for this bangin single called, "Say Something" ft. Drake. Following is the official video. These are two very talented artists.

Time in Vancouver

I'm in Vancouver, BC at the moment with my brother and I figured I would write about something that related to Vancouver. In Vancouver's Discorder Magazine, they picked the 50 best bands from this decade to come out of Vancouver's music scene. The two that I liked included #25 Tegan & Sara and #1 The New Pornographers. My first question is, how the hell did The New Pornographers beat out Tegan & Sara? My next question is, why are there 24 bands rated better than Tegan & Sara? Either way, both great bands but another case of poor judging.

All Four Kanye West Records Make Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Albums of the Decade

Congratulations to a dude that hasn't received much positive press in last few months. At least his talents were recognized right?

Real Cool Event

Nike teamed up with Fluff Magazine on a new project, a 600 page book featuring every Nike SB rider in Europe. Marcel Veldem traveled 19 European countries shooting SB riders. The project ran 18 months.

This is the event that both companies threw to rightfully show off all that they had done.

Super sick.

South Face Installation

By Architect/Designer Massimo Iosa. I'm a fan of how he arranged the lighting.

J Cole.. here to change the face of music

J has gone beyond my expectations of any artist. Speechless. You can download his mixtape The Come Up, below. He wrote and produced the entire record. First artist to sign to Jay Z's master lablel, Roc Nation.

I really adore this piece. Italian down company Oncler teamed up with Pharrell's textile company, Bionic.

Tuesdays

Design layout due to The New Deal next week for their EP release. Trying to record myself. Times are moving quick. There's always time for the listening experience though.

Mr Hudson released his first major label album titled Straight No Chaser. I recommend the album to anyone with an ear for G.O.O.D. music. In an interview with HypeBeast, Hudson compares his solo album to his previous Mr Hudson & The Library release, "It’s bigger, it’s wider and it’s louder. It’s more future human arts basically."

Pretty Lights in Seattle

Since getting back from SF I've been making an honest effort to get back into seeing more shows. This Saturday, Nectar Lounge is featuring Fort Collins, CO's Pretty Light w/ Boulder, CO's DJ Roots, and Oregon's Chicharones. Pretty Lights can be described as Electronic music but better. Yes electronic, but soulful. Look HERE

Friday Night

It is Friday. I think we're all stoked. Except for the fact that the Fame Kills tour was called off. Lady Gaga will continue on a solo tour. Kanye.. nothing yet.

But Sunday is the subject of this week's conversations. That being Toronto's Deadmau5 live at the Showbox.

Should be an amazing show like all of his. I'm bumbed that I can't go myself. Although hailing from the same town as Lil Wayne's protégé Drake, you can expect a much different sound from Deadmau5. Electronica/House
